Mellow Mushroom is opening its second Huntsville restaurant on Cecil Ashburn, at the base of Huntsville Mountain. "Longtime" readers of the blog may notice that this is on the same site as the proposed St. James Place retail/office development that died early last year. The rest of the site isn't being developed, for now.

Yay! So glad! I hate driving all the way down University!
That's great but it would have been better if it was part of the Constellation development downtown.
Maybe distance would have hurt the Providence location.
Who is the architect?
Hopefully there will be plenty of patio space...
I love the Mellow Mushroom here in Providence, I just wish more places here in Providence were like it! Kalous was perfect until they closed down :(
There's a lot of digging going on for it to just be a Mellow Mushroom. The signs are all referencing St. James Place so I am hopeful that there's more planned than just this one [amazingly tasty] restaurant.
I am new to your blog -- love it!!!
