Residential Permits (new construction) in Huntsville city limits:

In November, 126 housing units were permitted, including 58 single- and 68 multi-family units. The top tract for building permits last month was 112 (Martin-Zierdt), where 78 units were permitted, 10 single- and 68 multi-family. This is an 82.6% increase over November 2014, when 69 housing units (68 single-family and 1 multi-family) were permitted.

Residential Certificates of Occupancy (new construction) in Huntsville city limits:

109 housing units were granted certificates of occupancy (CO’s), including 59 single- and 50 multi-family units. The top tract for CO’s in the month of November was 14.01 (Creekwood Park) where 27 housing units were added, 3 single- and 24 multi-family. This is an 18.7% decrease over November 2014, when 134 housing units (66 single-family and 68 multi-family) were granted CO’s.
