Residential Permits (new construction) in Huntsville city limits:

In October, 117 housing units were permitted, including 93 single- and 24 multi-family units. The top census tract for building permits last month was 109.01 (Hampton Cove), where 26 units were permitted, all single-family. This is a 31.6% decrease over October 2014, when 171 housing units (84 single- and 87 multi-family) were permitted.

Residential Certificates of Occupancy (new construction) in Huntsville city limits:

178 housing units were granted certificates of occupancy (CO’s), including 98 single- and 80 multi-family units. The top tract for CO’s in the month of October was 14.02 (Research Park) where 37 housing units were added, 1 single- and 36 multi-family. This is a 56.1% increase over October 2014, when 114 housing units (82 single- and 32 multi-family) were granted CO’s.

  1. Would like to know what merchants are lined up for the Shoppes at Redstone? We (Boeing gateway) would love to see a coffee shop and a couple of eateries.
